Ben is an experienced ultrarunner and has known Billy for more than 30 years. Their conversations about the mOm incubator programme inspired him to use his biggest challenge yet to raise awareness and support for premature babies.
In May 2027, I will take on Cocodona 250, a 253.3-mile ultramarathon from Black Canyon to Flagstaff, with nearly 39,000 feet of climbing. I am using the challenge to raise awareness and funds for mOm incubators, supporting premature babies where neonatal care is under immense pressure. Through my friendship with Billy Chalk, I saw how one practical contribution can make a real difference. Every mile is a chance to turn personal challenge into practical help for the most fragile lives.
